Three-year guarantee for noncommercial use. A small amount of ground salt, pepper, or other spices may settle and fall from bottom of grinder when not in use. When changing spices, grind a few times after the new spice is filled to remove any residue from the previous spice. For best results, adjust the bottom knob to a fine grind setting. Grinder can be used to grind other spices, such as mustard seed or allspice. Store the grinders in the included stand and keep away from heat source. To grind, grasp the metal sleeve on the bottom of the grinder in one hand, and with the other hand, rotate the clear body clockwise. If the gray knob comes off, center the knob over the metal screw, push down, and screw clockwise. Small dots indicate finer grind, while large dots indicate coarse grind. To adjust coarseness, turn the grinder over and locate the small gray knob on the base, turn the knob clockwise for a fine grind or counterclockwise for a coarse grind. Do not fill with pre-ground salt, pepper, or spices. For best results, use with dry coarse granules of sea salt. When filled, screw the cap back into place. To fill, unscrew the top cap and pour in the desired spice. To deep clean grinder, empty completely, partially fill grinder with dry coarse sea salt, and grind until output is clear. Grinders and stand are not dishwasher-safe. Wipe exterior with damp cloth prior to first use and towel dry thoroughly.
